The Lion City Sailors Football School (LCSFS) will be expanding its footprint with the opening of a new training centre at The Sports Arina @ Jalan Kayu, set to begin operations in April. The new centre aims to improve accessibility for young footballers residing in Singapore’s north-east region and provide more opportunities for children to participate in structured football training.

Since its rebranding under Lion City Sailors FC in 2020, LCSFS has remained committed to its philosophy of “Football For All”, promoting inclusivity and a love for the game among boys and girls. LCSFS currently offers programmes for children as young as 2.5 years old up to 17 years old, providing an environment where players of different abilities can learn and enjoy football.

The training centre at Jalan Kayu will offer general training, competitive training, and dedicated all-girls sessions. Both general and competitive pathways will be available for players aged 4–12, allowing participants to train according to their level. This expansion reflects LCSFS’s continued efforts to broaden access to quality football training across Singapore while nurturing the next generation of players.
